Project details
The goal of this project was to refresh the Workday brand and scale it consistently across all web properties, while also creating robust libraries and documentation for internal teams and vendor partners.

The Problem
A brand refresh had been defined, but it needed to be operationalized across workday.com, component libraries, and supporting documentation. Without a unified rollout strategy, adoption risk and inconsistency were high.
Main Idea
Systematically incorporate the new brand across workday.com while building scalable Figma libraries and a custom documentation experience that teams could easily adopt.
Project Goal
Ship the refreshed brand quickly and accurately, using minimal additional engineering effort, while making the system easy for authors and partners to consume.
What we were able to achieve
• Fully refreshed workday.com including color, typography, and logo system.
• Delivered a new set of 150+ handcrafted icons aligned to the updated visual language.
• Implementation of customized components such as the new brand arc that spans across two different sections on a page.
• Established brand elements within AEM, the authoring CMS used for the backend and tested extensively to ensure reliability.

Conclusion
Overall, the implementation was seamless due to proper planning and it required very little development resources because of the way we staged the rollout. The transition was smooth across teams with no major hiccups.
